|
The St. Louis Archies beat the Yellowstone Super Volcano, 8-5, at Team2 Ballpark. David Funk, in particular, was impressive. He was 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Spencer Hay, the winner, goes to 13-7. He allowed 4 runs on 4 hits, with 2 walks and 7 strikeouts over 5 innings. St. Louis goes to 82-51, Yellowstone to 60-74.
Albert Salgado, the St. Louis center fielder, contributed a 2-run single in the bottom of the fourth inning to make the score 7-3, Archies. For the game, Salgado was 2-4 with 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs.
