Chicks Deal Buffalo 4-2 Defeat
|
Memphis pitcher Jeremy Myers had a large part in his team beating the Buffalo Buffalo, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The loss makes Buffalo 62-73.
Sean Allman hit a run-scoring double off Jimmy Miller in the bottom of the eighth, which put the Chicks in front, 3-2. In addition to the double, Allman had 1 single, while going 2 for 4.
"We're in a little funk right now and we've just got to get ourselves out of it," said Buffalo manager Jim Punk42ae.
