The right-hander used his bread and butter, his cutter, to pitch the Buffalo to a win, 3-0. Miller, the winner, moves to 4-3. He threw 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 5 and giving up 4 walks. Buffalo has now won 3 in a row.
Buffalo used a clutch at-bat from Leon Alvarez to capture the win. The catcher hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Buffalo ahead, 2-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
