Porters Drop 5-1 Decision

Spirited fans greeted the Dublin Porters for their clash with the Kyiv Cossacks.
Noah Abitia made an impact in the 5-1 Kyiv win over Dublin. Abitia, who is tied for 9th in the FL in RBI with 72, was 4 for 5 with a home run and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. Billy Roland was the winner. He's now 14-6. The loser was fan favorite Karl Gordam.
Jeremy Gillespie had a big 2-run triple for the Cossacks in the top of the third inning. With Kyiv leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a splitter from Karl Gordam, who finished 2nd in the FL in wins with 20 in 2040, and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Cossacks ahead, 3-0.
"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Gillespie.
With the victory, the Cossacks upped their record to 68-60.
