Beavers Prevail, 3-2, Over Buffalo

Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Portland Beavers got the win.
Greg Lee helped his team muscle past the Buffalo Buffalo, 3-2. In the game, the Portland designated hitter threw 6.2 innings allowing 2 runs. Tony Orellana got the save, his 30th in 35 chances.
Portland used the timely hitting of Oscar Hernandez to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Beavers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Portland skipper GM bigbluex02.
With the win over Buffalo, the Beavers improved to 56-72.
