Yellowstone and Havana got after it at Sugardome II.

Yellowstone parlayed a decent outing from starter John Griese into a solid win over the Havana Sugar Kings. The final score was 8-4. The Super Volcano, at 69-57, sit in first place in the Alliance League Dimwits Division.

Bobby Blank had a big 2-run home run for the Super Volcano in the top of the first inning. With Yellowstone leading 1-0 and a runner on 3rd, he got a cutter from fan favorite Jorge Figueroa and swatted a home run to left. It was his 26th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Super Volcano ahead, 3-0.

"John pumped strikes and he made good pitches when he had to," said Yellowstone manager GM AtticaOnline.
