The Los Angeles Kings knocked off the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 5-3, in Alliance League action at Bulldogs Ballpark. Los Angeles pitcher and Fayetteville, North Carolina, native Alex Watkins had an outstanding performance. The defeat makes Sudbury 69-57.

The Kings extended their lead in the top of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, Xavier Blair hit a sacrifice fly to make it 2-0, Los Angeles.

Blair attributed the win to "an all-around good team performance."
