Koonts goes 4-for-5, Leads Buffalo to 9-6 Win
The Buffalo Buffalo beat the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 9-6, at The Greenhouse. Nick Koonts went 4-5 with 4 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The nine-time All-Star was a menace to Sudbury all day. Danny Rutledge picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Josh Freeland suffered the loss. The losing streak for Sudbury has now reached 4 games.

Emilio Nin broke a 3-3 tie in the bottom of the seventh with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It put the Buffalo in front, 4-3. For the game, Nin was 2 for 3 with 2 doubles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI.
