In a low-scoring contest between the Buffalo Buffalo and the Brooklyn Knights, Glenn DePue was the X factor. The Buffalo right-hander spearheaded the 3-0 win. The Buffalo saw their win-loss record go to 63-62. At the same time, the Knights fell to 68-57.

The Buffalo benefited from an error in the top of the sixth inning. Buffalo was leading 1-0 when Jay Wood hit a run-scoring single that was misplayed. It put Buffalo in front, 2-0.

"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Enoch Tang.
