Portland right fielder Ethan Breaux made his presence felt in the 12-2 Beavers triumph over the Brooklyn Knights. Breaux went 3 for 5 with 3 doubles and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. The first-place Beavers, at 64-58, lead the Alliance League Dimwits Division by 6 games.

Portland used a clutch at-bat from Luke Spradley to capture the win. The left fielder hammered a grand slam home run in the top of the second inning to put the Beavers ahead, 5-0. It was his lone hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

Brooklyn manager Enoch Tang called the blowout loss "undesirable."
