The San Antonio Aztecs topped the Arizona Desert Storm, 8-7, with designated hitter Josh George playing a big role. George went 3-4 with a home run and 2 doubles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2 for the Aztecs in the win. San Antonio reliever Nate Tonn picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Josh Kern was saddled with the loss. The setback makes Arizona 26-27.

The decisive blow was delivered by Travis Kinnard in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 31-year old right-handed pitcher Josh Kern to win the game for San Antonio. The home crowd went nuts.

"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Kinnard told the San Antonio Citizen.
