Beavers Prevail, 6-4, Over Brooklyn
|
The Portland Beavers knocked off the Brooklyn Knights, 6-4, at Brooklyn Coliseum. David Terkeurst was a big reason Portland won. The catcher went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Chris Hakes picked up the save for Portland, his 3rd of the year. The Alliance League Dimwits Division-leading Beavers have a record of 63-58.
The game turned with one out in the top of the fourth when Terkeurst hit a grand slam home run. It thrust the Beavers into the lead, 4-0.
"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Terkeurst.
