Led by Tyler Farrell, the Lansing Red Storm defeated the Los Angeles Kings, 6-1. Farrell went 2 for 5 with a home run, while scoring 2 and driving in 5 for the Red Storm. With the victory, the Red Storm record stands at 20-33.
Lansing took a 6-1 lead on Farrell's 6th home run of the season. The grand slam home run, which he hit off Brian Collins in the top of the seventh, propelled Lansing to the win.
"We understand we didn't play our best baseball," said losing manager Jim KP. "We'll shower it off and be ready to compete."
