Buffalo Take Down Super Volcano, 2-1
|
Starting pitcher John Hoover gave the Buffalo Buffalo a rock-solid performance, helping them defeat the Yellowstone Super Volcano, 2-1, in 10 innings. Buffalo reliever Noah Powell picked up the win, upping his record to 1-0. Kurat Feyzioglu was saddled with the loss. Buffalo goes to 2-4.
The Buffalo got a clutch hit from pinch hitter Jacob Estes. In the bottom of the tenth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Buffalo.
"The game is never over 'til it's over," said a jubilant Jim Punk42ae, the Buffalo skipper.
