Brooklyn Knights starter Adam Dodson hurled his team past the Arizona Desert Storm, 9-2. The winning pitcher was Dodson, now 1-1. He tossed 7.1 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 0 and fanning 5. Arizona drops to 4-2.

Trevor Egan had a big 3-run home run for the Knights in the bottom of the seventh inning. With Brooklyn leading 5-2 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he sized up a curveball from former first round draft pick Ivan Chavez and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Knights on top, 8-2.

"It was a good night for them and a bad night for us," said Arizona manager GM Fetty.
