Buffington Delivers Walk-Off Win for Dragon Warriors
Waikiki got a terrific performance from pitcher Josh Brenton, but it wasn't enough to beat the Hanoi Dragon Warriors. Hanoi won the The Nest contest, 6-3. Brenton threw 8.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Hanoi reliever Chris Gills picked up the win, raising his record to 2-1. Tim Pettit was tagged with the loss. Hanoi goes to 28-24, Waikiki to 20-32.

Hanoi got a clutch hit from Steve Buffington. The third baseman socked a 3-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was game-ender.

Buffington said his team "played with determination."
