The Buffalo Buffalo picked up a win at The Greenhouse, knocking off the Detroit Pizzas, 2-1, in 19 innings. Starting pitcher Glenn DePue played a key role in the triumph. Buffalo, at 23-28, holds down last place in the Alliance League Dimwits Division.

The Buffalo got a clutch hit from left fielder Matt Nagy. In the bottom of the 19th, he hit a run-scoring single to center, to win the game for the Buffalo.

"You work hard, day in and day out, hoping to give the fans something to cheer about. Today was a good day," Nagy told the Buffalo Observer.
