Rocha Thwarts Baltimore, 5-0
|
Harrisburg Senators pitcher Ramiro Rocha really got it done at Ballpark of Baltimore in a 5-0 shutout victory over the Baltimore Jaspers, shutting them down on 6 hits.
"It was just one of those games where everything went right. I threw a lot of strikes," Rocha said. "And the pitches they did get to hit, they didn't do anything with them."
The 25-year-old issued 1 walk and had 4 strikeouts in the Senators win.
To date this season, Rocha sports a 5-7 mark with a 2.63 ERA in 19 starting assignments. He has held the opposition to a .224 batting average and has 102 strikeouts in 136.2 innings.
