Porters Suffer 3-1 Home Defeat
|
Karl Gordam pitched well enough to win, but it was not to be. The Dublin Porters, despite Gordam's fine outing, dropped a 3-1 decision to the Yellowstone Super Volcano at Porters Ballpark. Justin Kowalick, the winner, goes to 5-3. He allowed 1 run on 6 hits, with 4 walks and 3 strikeouts over 6.1 innings. Yellowstone now owns a record of 28-20.
Yellowstone took the lead, 3-1, on Ryan Chiasson's 9th home run of the season. The solo home run came off Dublin pitcher Karl Gordam in the top of the eighth.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Chiasson.
