Blueberry Bulldogs Rally to Nose Past Arizona
The Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs defeated the Arizona Desert Storm, 4-3, in 10 innings in Federation League action at Bulldogs Ballpark. Sudbury pitcher Matt Wesberry had a standout performance. Reliever Derrick Bergdahl picked up the win. His record improves to 3-1. Andy Buhrke, who finished 4th in the AL in saves with 35 in 2047, took the loss. After today's action, Sudbury sits at 28-21; Arizona slips to 20-29.

Sudbury got a knockout punch from Steve Sanders. The shortstop hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"This place was rocking at the end," Sanders said.
