Sudbury pitcher Adrian Hernandez had a large part in his team beating the St. Louis Archies, 3-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Blueberry Bulldogs, now 4-1, have been playing some good baseball.

The Blueberry Bulldogs got a big at-bat from designated hitter Josh Freeland. For the game, Freeland was 1-4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. In the bottom of the first, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Sudbury a 2-0 lead.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Hernandez told the Sudbury Chronicle.
