McCauley Helps Blue Rocks Beat Super Volcano, 8-5
Jody McCauley was a vital contributor to the 8-5 Wilmington victory over Yellowstone. The Blue Rocks designated hitter was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 5 RBI and scoring once. Reliever Miguel Romero picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Ron McAlister took the loss. Picking up the save was Jon Chino, his 2nd.

The game was all tied up in the top of the ninth, until McCauley delivered big-time for Wilmington, stroking a dramatic 3-run home run off Andres Ramirez. The game-changing hit put the Blue Rocks on top, 8-5.

"We're in a little bit of a dry spell," said Yellowstone manager GM AtticaOnline.

Wilmington is off to a hot start at 4-1.
