Both teams had their chances, but the St. Louis Archies eventually prevailed.
In a tight contest between the St. Louis Archies and the Havana Sugar Kings, Chris Moore was the determining factor. The St. Louis right-hander sparkled in his team's 2-1 win. Moore, now 3-1, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 9 hits, while striking out 4, walking 1, and allowing 1 run. The save went to Satoharu Sato, number 10 for him.

"I'll probably toss and turn tonight," Havana manager The Baron said, following the tough loss.
St. Louis, at 29-18, is 2½ games up in the Federation League Birdbrains Division.
