There was no shortage of dramatics at Brooklyn Coliseum.

Starting pitcher Justin Gray gave the Brooklyn Knights a rock-solid effort. The Houston, Texas native helped his team defeat the Portland Beavers, 2-1, at Brooklyn Coliseum. Gray got the win, improving to 2-0. He gave up 5 hits and walked 1 over 9 innings. He allowed 1 run.

Trevor Egan was the walk-off hero for Brooklyn. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Knights third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"This place was rockin'," Egan said.

Today's win puts Brooklyn at 20-28, while Portland falls to 22-26.
