Porters Ballpark was the site of an exciting ballgame between the Dublin Porters and East Haddam Hyenas.

At Porters Ballpark, the Dublin Porters edged the East Haddam Hyenas, 6-5, in 13 innings. Dublin designated hitter Victor Ruiz, who jolted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Eddie Lomeli, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-1. He allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the 13th for Dublin. That's when Steve Barone hit a run-scoring double off 26-year old left-handed pitcher Joe Bass to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"If you want to be considered a good team, these are the kind of games you have to win," said Dublin manager Hannah Porter.
