Brooklyn Sends Dublin Packing with 3-2 Loss
|
Brooklyn right-hander Alex Smith helped his team edge Dublin by the score of 3-2. Smith kept the opposing lineup in check. The losing streak for Dublin has now reached 5 games.
Left Fielder John Baccari made an impact for Brooklyn, when he swatted a 2-run home run off Juan Gonzalez in the bottom of the third. For the contest, Baccari went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.
"We need better swings, better at-bats," said losing manager Hannah Porter.
