Kings Slap 7-3 Loss on Brooklyn
|
The Los Angeles Kings picked up a win at Brooklyn Coliseum, downing the Brooklyn Knights, 7-3. On the mound for Los Angeles was right-hander Toby Guinn, who played a pivotal role in the win. Los Angeles is in second place in the Alliance League Dimwits Division with a record of 58-60.
Los Angeles used the timely hitting of Gabe Herrera to seize the win. The catcher stroked a 2-run single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Kings on top, 6-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"You can't get too high when things go well, or too low when things go bad. Right now, I'm just happy we got the win," Herrera told the Los Angeles Herald.
