The Hanoi Dragon Warriors picked up a win at The Nest, topping the Portland Beavers, 7-6. On the mound for Hanoi was right-hander Chris Gills. He played a principal role in the triumph. Hanoi has 3 straight wins, Portland 3 straight losses.

The decisive blow was delivered by Danny Laines in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a solo home run off former first round draft pick Chris Duffy to win the game for Hanoi. The home crowd went nuts.

"It was terrific getting this win," Laines said. "We put in a lot of work to do it."
