Hanoi registered a win at The Nest by beating the Portland Beavers, 4-3. Pitcher Tony Ramos was one reason why the Dragon Warriors triumphed. In 8 innings, Ramos surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 3. He allowed 3 runs. Noah Powell closed out the game, earning his 34th save.

Fernando Espinal, who is the 6th-best prospect in the Dragon Warriors organization, took Portland hurler Victor Velasco deep in the bottom of the sixth. His solo home run put the Dragon Warriors on top, 3-2. In all, Espinal had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.

"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Espinal.
