|
The Hanoi Dragon Warriors grabbed a win, 4-2, over the Yellowstone Super Volcano at Volcano Ballpark. Hanoi shortstop Scott Jennings slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Andy Pittman picked up the win with 6.2 innings of work. He allowed 1 run on 4 hits, while walking 2 and striking out 7. On the season, he is now 4-1. The win gives Hanoi a season record of 26-21.
In the first inning, Jennings had a 2-run home run for Hanoi. It was his 10th home run of the season and put the Dragon Warriors on top, 2-0.
Jennings attributed the win to his team's "steely resolve."
