Dragon Warriors Pick Up 6-4 Win Against Portland
The Hanoi Dragon Warriors cut down the Portland Beavers by the score of 6-4, with the largest share of the credit going to center fielder Danny Laines. Laines went 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs for the Dragon Warriors. Noah Powell closed it out for his 33rd save. With the win, Hanoi pushed its record to 63-54.

With Hanoi leading 4-3 in the bottom of the third, Laines hit a changeup from Steve Thomas for a solo home run. It was his 15th home run of the season and put the Dragon Warriors ahead, 5-3.

Laines told a Hanoi Gazette reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
