Arizona Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
|
The Arizona Desert Storm beat the Buffalo Buffalo, 8-7, in 12 innings at Desert Storm Stadium. Arizona third baseman Jay Marshall had an outstanding performance. He went 4-5 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while adding 5 RBI. Arizona is 66-49 and Buffalo, with the loss, 54-61.
The Desert Storm got a clutch hit from left fielder Eddie Garcia. In the bottom of the 12th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Desert Storm.
"The crowd was juiced," said Marshall.
