A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Havana Sugar Kings and Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs.

The Havana Sugar Kings topped the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 10-6, in Alliance League action at Bulldogs Ballpark. The standout performance belonged to Havana pitcher and Central Falls, Rhode Island, native Zack Alvarez. Kurat Feyzioglu picked up his 28th save of the season.

Havana used the hitting of Tony Anaya to pick up the win. The center fielder clubbed a solo home run in the top of the third inning to put the Sugar Kings on top, 2-0. For the game, Anaya had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"I like the vibe in the clubhouse after a win," said Anaya. "It sure beats the alternative."

The Sugar Kings now have a record of 64-51 with the win over Sudbury.
