The Kyiv Cossacks powered past the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 9-5, at Kyiv Grounds. Rod Garcia provided some of the pop. He went 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Billy Roland, who went 5 innings, was the winning pitcher. He was charged with 5 runs on 8 hits, while walking 1 and striking out 6. His record now stands at 5-4.
