The home crowd had a good time watching the San Antonio Aztecs and Pittsburgh Yinzers get after it.

Starting pitcher Eric Adamonis was a major factor in the 4-0 Pittsburgh Yinzers triumph over the San Antonio Aztecs. Adamonis got the win, improving to 2-4. He gave up 2 hits and walked 2 over 6.2 innings. He allowed no runs.

The Aztecs had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Yinzers going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 29-year old first baseman Danny Gutierrez came to the plate. Gutierrez hit a 2-run home run on a full count curveball from San Antonio hurler Tim Ocampo. It was Gutierrez's 6th home run of the year.

Adamonis attributed the win to "an all-around good team performance."

Pittsburgh now sits at 21-24, while San Antonio falls to 20-26.
