In a tight tilt between the Yellowstone Super Volcano and the Los Angeles Kings, Justin Kowalick was the deciding factor. The Yellowstone right-hander spearheaded the 2-0 win. Kowalick got the win, improving to 4-3. He gave up 7 hits and walked 4 over 6.1 innings. He allowed no runs. Ryan Podolsky earned the save for Yellowstone, his 14th of the year.

Josh George had a direct impact on the outcome. George contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fourth inning to put Yellowstone up, 1-0.
