Aztecs Suffer 5-3 Setback
Sportsman's Park was the site of a competitive game between the San Antonio Aztecs and Los Angeles Kings.

The Los Angeles Kings defeated the San Antonio Aztecs, 5-3, in Alliance League action at Sportsman's Park. Tom Salinas pulled his weight. The 13-year veteran was 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 2. Thomas Lloyd, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 9th save.

Salinas had an important at-bat with a runner on 1st in the bottom of the sixth, when he hit a 2-run home run. The Kings went on to win.

"I'm not out here to win a beauty contest," said Salinas. "Obviously."

The win gives the Kings a record of 14-31.
