Miller Has Hot Hand, Bangs 5 hits
|
Malachi Miller of the Jacksonville Alligators went on a hitting spree against the Oklahoma City Hooks pitching staff, racking up 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but to no avail -- the Hooks put a damper on his day and prevailed, 8-7, over the Alligators.
"It was a heck of a day and I was kind of looking forward to a better ending than that," he said later.
Malachi Miller singled in the 2nd, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th.
Thus far this season in 44 games, Miller is batting .383 with 5 home runs, 40 RBIs and 37 runs scored. He has 67 hits in 175 at-bats.
