It was a high-five day for Cesar Gallegos, at least for a while.

The Rhome right fielder got plenty of them from his teammates when he reached the five-hit milestone during today's game against the Grosse Pointe Better Mades, but they were in short supply at the end, as Grosse Pointe won the game, 7-6. Gallegos finished with an impressive 5-for-7 line, but the Rhavioli couldn't hold off the Better Mades.

"Cesar was hitting everything," said Rhavioli manager Danny Curtis. "It's too bad the other guys couldn't rise to the occasion."

Cesar Gallegos singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th, hit a solo-shot off Tony Lopez in the 8th, flied out in the 10th and flied out in the 12th.

Gallegos is currently hitting at a .353 pace with 4 home runs and 20 RBIs.
