Both teams had their chances, but the Arizona Desert Storm eventually prevailed.

The Arizona Desert Storm knocked off the Dublin Porters, 4-3, in Federation League action at Desert Storm Stadium. Arizona pitcher and Nashville, Tennessee, native Josh Kern had an outstanding performance. Kern, now 3-4, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 5, walking 3, and allowing no runs.

Nathaniel Peurifoy helped out the Arizona cause in the bottom of the second inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the catcher drew 2 walks in 4 trips to the plate.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Peurifoy told the Arizona Herald.

The Desert Storm improved their record to 19-25 by beating Dublin.
