Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs starter Luis Espinoza hurled his team past the Kyiv Cossacks, 3-1. Willie Sevilla picked up the save, his 2nd. The loss makes Kyiv 21-20.

Sudbury won the game in part because of Chris Edwards. The designated hitter ripped a 2-run home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Blueberry Bulldogs ahead, 2-0. For the game, Edwards had 1 double and 1 home run in 4 at-bats.

"We'll take some time to unwind," said Espinoza, "and then get after it again."
