Los Angeles Absorbs 6-3 Loss to Hanoi
The Hanoi Dragon Warriors picked up a win at Sportsman's Park, topping the Los Angeles Kings, 6-3. On the mound for Hanoi was right-hander Nick Rennie. He played a principal role in the triumph. Rennie yielded 2 runs over 6 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 4, and struck out 7. His record improves to 3-4. Noah Powell collected his 10th save.

Danny Laines had a big 2-run double for the Dragon Warriors in the top of the first inning. With Hanoi leading 1-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a slider from Steve Wilkerson, who is tied for 2nd in the AL in innings pitched with 63.2, and swatted a double to right. It was his 11th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Dragon Warriors ahead, 3-0.

"We did a lot of things right," said Laines.

With the victory, the Dragon Warriors upped their record to 22-19.
