Hanoi and Yellowstone duked it out and the Dragon Warriors came out victorious.

The Hanoi Dragon Warriors defeated the Yellowstone Super Volcano, 4-1, in Alliance League action at Volcano Ballpark. Hanoi pitcher Jon Gilson had a standout performance. Noah Powell earned the save for Hanoi, his 9th.

Hanoi used the hitting of Casey Dawson to pick up the win. The first baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the sixth inning to put the Dragon Warriors on top, 3-1. For the game, Dawson had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

Dawson told a Hanoi Gazette reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.

The Dragon Warriors now have a record of 20-19 with the win over Yellowstone.
