Big Day for Espinosa as Knights Down Hyenas, 6-5
Behind a solid performance from catcher John Espinosa, the Brooklyn Knights defeated the East Haddam Hyenas, 6-5. Espinosa went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while adding 6 RBI and scoring once for the Knights. Tanner Denny closed the door for Brooklyn, picking up his 8th save of the year. The loss makes East Haddam 19-21.

Espinosa had a game-changing double in the bottom of the eighth. On a 1-1 fastball from Julio Martinez, he banged a 2-run double to right, giving the Knights a 6-4 lead. It was the 4th double of the year for Espinosa.

"Winning never gets dull," said Espinosa.
