The Osaka Takoyaki picked up a win at Takoyaki Park, knocking off the Sudbury Blueberry Bulldogs, 3-2. Starting pitcher Mark Foglesong was a big reason why. The winning pitcher was Foglesong, now 3-3. He tossed 7 innings of 5-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 7. Daniel Forsyth finished to wrap up his 9th save.

The Takoyaki got a big at-bat from catcher David Pacheco. For the game, Pacheco went 1 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the fifth, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 1st home run of the season gave Osaka a 3-2 lead.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Pacheco.

After today's action, Osaka sits at 16-22, while Sudbury falls to 21-17.
