Kings Deal Dragon Warriors 6-4 Loss
The Los Angeles Kings defeated the Hanoi Dragon Warriors, 6-4. Third Baseman Dominique Petrocelli deserved a large share of the credit. Petrocelli was 4-5 with 4 singles, while scoring 2 runs for the Kings. The winning pitcher was Steve Wilkerson. He tossed 103 pitches over 7.1 innings, allowing 4 runs on 8 hits. Jim Davis collected save number 27.

Tied up with the Dragon Warriors in the top of the fifth inning, the Kings got a boost from right fielder Mario Gonzalez. With the bases loaded, Gonzalez saw a full count fastball from Vinny Ochoa and hit a 2-run single to break the stalemate and put Los Angeles on top, 6-4.

"I feel like a little kid every time I put the uniform on," said Petrocelli.

At 48-62, the Kings find themselves in last place in the Alliance League Dimwits Division.
