Memphis Gets Another L
Pitching was the name of the game in a tight contest between the Brooklyn Knights and the Memphis Chicks. Brooklyn won it, 2-0. Brooklyn starter Ray Totino was in command. The slumping Chicks have dropped 7 in a row.

The Chicks had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Knights going into the bottom of the fifth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old catcher John Espinosa came to the plate. Espinosa hit a solo home run on a 1-1 sinker from Memphis hurler Jeremy Myers. It was Espinosa's 3rd home run of the year.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Brooklyn manager Enoch Tang.
