Buffalo catcher Tyler Steele was instrumental in helping the Buffalo triumph, 4-2, over the Havana Sugar Kings. Steele slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Buffalo pitcher Andy Pittman got the win, upping his record to 7-10. Eric McKinney got the loss. The Buffalo go to 52-57, putting them second in the Alliance League Dimwits Division.

Steele had a key at-bat for Buffalo in the top of the first. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was his 13th home run of the season and gave Buffalo an early 2-0 lead.
