The Osaka Takoyaki and Waikiki Wayfinders played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.
Osaka Takoyaki right-hander Justin Donahue pitched a good game against the Waikiki Wayfinders at Takoyaki Park, leading his team to victory, 3-2. Donahue got the win, improving to 7-8. He gave up 6 hits and walked 3 over 7.2 innings. He allowed 2 runs. Eric Beasley closed it out for Osaka, earning his 29th save.
Osaka took control in the bottom of the sixth. With two out and runners on 1st and 3rd, David Pacheco hit a run-scoring single to make it 3-2, Takoyaki.
Donahue called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
The Takoyaki bumped their record to 56-52 with this latest triumph.
