Kings Top Buffalo, 3-1
|
In a tight tilt between the Los Angeles Kings and the Buffalo Buffalo, Chris Shea was the deciding factor. The Los Angeles right-hander spearheaded the 3-1 win. Los Angeles, now 39-68, holds down last place in the Alliance League Dimwits Division.
In the bottom of the first inning, second baseman Mike Robertson had a 2-run double for Los Angeles. It was his 8th double of the season and put the Kings on top, 2-0.
"Can't say enough about our pitching," said Robertson.
