The Arizona Desert Storm picked up a win at Kyiv Grounds, knocking off the Kyiv Cossacks, 11-3. Starting pitcher Kevin Spencer was a big reason why. The second-place Desert Storm have won 4 in a row.

The Desert Storm got an important contribution from right fielder Setsujiro Takahashi, who in the top of the third hit a first pitch changeup to right for a 2-run double. It was his 16th double of the season and put the Desert Storm ahead, 3-0.

"Kevin set the tone with his ability to attack the hitters," said Arizona manager GM Fetty.
