The inspired effort of Buffalo right fielder Kevin Barriga was not enough to prevent a loss, 7-6, to the San Antonio Aztecs. Barriga went 2-3 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. San Antonio now sports a record of 47-60.

San Antonio took the lead, 7-6, on Kyle Jones's 9th home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Buffalo pitcher Daniel Bojorquez in the bottom of the eighth.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Jones, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
