Porters Earn 2-1 Win Against Red Storm
|
Dublin used a superb performance from starting pitcher Karl Gordam to down the Lansing Red Storm, 2-1. The win gives Dublin a season record of 61-44.
Though he didn't earn the victory, Gordam kept his team in the game until the bullpen took over and the Dublin offense came through. Over 7 innings, he allowed 4 hits and 1 run, while striking out 13.
"It was a test of wills," said Jim DG, the Dublin skipper. "I'm glad we came out of it with a win."
